St George College
Study in Australia
Located in Adelaide on the city-fringe, St George College is an independent, co-educational school, providing education from Playgroup to Year 12. St George College has two campuses, in close proximity to each other, at 54 and 75 Rose Street, Mile End.
At St George College we are proud of our culturally and linguistically diverse student population, and embrace our multi-cultural community. The heritage of our students ranges from Australian, Greek, Serbian, Chinese, Ethiopian, Korean and Vietnamese.
A St George College education will encourage your child to be the best that they can be, by providing inspirational, differentiated teaching and learning experiences that inspire excellence.
We offer a broad education across all areas of learning. We give students an opportunity to specialise in areas of interest such as STEM, Extension Mathematics, the Arts and Sport – through our innovative elective program.
We have a dedicated Middle School from Years 5-8, and our senior secondary curriculum is extensive offering more than twenty Year 12 SACE subjects. Modern Greek and Chinese are also taught on both campuses.
International Students are looked after by their dedicated Head of House, who is their counsellor and supports them with Wellbeing issues and managing their academic demands. We provide 4 lessons of English per week, plus four lessons of English as an Additional Language (EAL) in small classes. Our daily pastoral care program ensures the wellbeing of each child is supported in a safe environment, strengthening relationships and teaching students the importance of good manners, team work, resilience, respect and being a good person.
Our co-curricular program gives students the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities such as soccer academy, basketball, netball, volleyball, chess, homework club, and debating and instrumental music.
Our students are encouraged to “Dream Big”. Faith, family, forever excelling underpins all we do at St George College.
