St John’s Grammar was founded in 1958 and is now an Early Learning to Year 12 school spread across three campuses. It is an independent school affiliated with the Anglican Church of Australia. Set in the serene Adelaide Hills, the School is a short 20-minute drive from Adelaide’s city centre and is surrounded by a beautiful natural bush environment with koalas, kookaburras and rainbow lorikeets in the surrounding trees.

St John’s Grammar has excellent facilities including Design & Technology and Information Technology Centres, the Whitechapel Art Gallery, a sports centre equipped with a gym, Science laboratories, and playing fields, just to name a few. The latest devices and technology can be found inside the classrooms, while our outdoor classroom consists not only of the school grounds but also the neighbouring Belair National Park.

The School added on-site boarding facilities in addition to its successful Homestay Program. All of these wonderful facilities are set amongst a natural bush environment with plenty of spaces to enjoy the outdoors. International students at St John’s Grammar School are looked after by outstanding teachers, boarding assistants, host families, student leaders, students’ parents overseas, and dedicated International staff who know their needs well.
